Together with the Prometheus platform, we have developed a course called “Work during the war” to help you make up your mind and take the first step. You will understand how to find a job now – in the current situation, with the resources you have, with the knowledge and skills you have acquired before. The aim of the course is to introduce you to the new conditions on the labour market during the war, show you how they are changing, what new opportunities they open up for job seekers, teach you the job search algorithm, and show you tools and techniques that will help you find a decent job in your speciality or learn a new profession.

Research

Research on the peculiarities of employment of IDPs in Lviv and Zakarpattia regions

Within the project of the FPEC, we conducted a research “Expanding Employment Opportunities for IDPs (internally displaced persons) in Zakarpattia and Lviv regions”. Its goal was to form a social portrait of IDPs in the targeted regions, study the needs and difficulties of IDPs related to employment, and analyse the labour market in the regions. All this is to ensure that in the future, public authorities, the public sector and businesses can develop and offer internally displaced persons the services that best meet their needs.

Research

“Assessment of the main problems related to the search for work by IDP women”

In 2017, we conducted a study with a focus on the employment and economic engagement of women in general and IDP women in particular. The research was intended to help us identify the problems women have faced in their job search over the past year. As part of the study, 600 respondents were interviewed. The results showed that most of the problems are related to the general state of the economy. In such conditions, employers perceive people as a “resource” and dictate working conditions that are often discriminatory.
